The 2017 Celebration of the Season concert was a great success, despite a rescheduling scramble due to an unexpected Georgia snowstorm.  Our performance featured vocalists Alison Holmes (soprano), Jennie Fabianski (alto) and Sam Holmes (tenor), guest conductor Matt Fuller, drum soloist Vincent Rosse, and the Chattahoochee High School Chamber Singers and Cavatina vocal ensemble, as well as as a string ensemble from River Ridge High School.

Our spring extravaganza program was a magnificent musical experience. Complete with a world premiere by Bill Locklear, guest soloists Alison Holmes and Matt McCord, and music ranging from marches to Broadway to transcriptions. It was a special concert because it was the retirement concert of our beloved conductor, Dr. David Gregory. Below is a slideshow created to honor his long and illustrious career. We are so grateful to have him now as Conductor Emeritus of the Georgia Wind Symphony, as we look forward to continuing what he has created and nurtured in this ensemble.

We had a wonderful time at our Invitational Performance at the Troy University Southeastern United States Concert Band Festival at Troy University in February, 2018.

Our 2017 spring concert featured vocal soloists Alison Holmes and Bruce Meadow, guest conductors Ashley Jarrell, and Ryan Borger and euphonium soloist Adam Frey, in addition to the Cambridge High School Trombone section.
